Twinfield launches new reporting capabilities for accountants
19 May 2009 | London
The new functionality also benefits accountants as it provides considerable time-savings in gathering important client data.
To determine if the new reporting tools would fit the expectations and requirements of accountants, Twinfield enlisted the help of twelve major accountancy firms who performed exhaustive tests of the enhanced reporting capabilities within the online accounting service.
The new functionality was well received by the firms. They applauded the capability to generate reports in the language of preference and to attach to the reports file names that fit the terminology of the client organisation. In addition, it is possible to configure what data is visible and the order, classification or division the data is presented in. In consultation with accountants, businesses can apply user rights for access to the reports.
Depending on their role, team or task, the ability to request reports can be predetermined for each employee. This significantly improves the protection of business critical data.
André Kwakernaat, managing director and co-founder of Twinfield said: “Both businesses and accountants benefit from reports that can be generated quickly and fit to order. Due to our new reporting capabilities, accountants no longer need to invest many hours in retrieving relevant client data, nor do they need to acquire separate reporting tools. Twinfield already provided a vast set of reports, and now has expanded this offering with the capability for businesses to generate and correlate all preferred data at no additional cost. The enthusiastic responses of our test panel underscore that our innovations are the right fit for the functionality accountants demand of a comprehensive accounting service. We trust that the new reporting capabilities will become common practice in the achievement of business success.”
