Deloitte and Twinfield collaboration integrates state-of-the-art accounting service with online portal ctrl

12 February 2009 | London

Twinfield, a leading provider of online accounting services in Europe, and Deloitte Netherlands have announced a close collaboration to expand service provision for SME customers. Twinfield’s state-of-the-art accounting service has been integrated with Ctrl (www.ctrl.nl), Deloitte’s online service portal.

The collaboration means Deloitte customers will see a decrease in subscription fees and will be supported by Twinfield through online webinars. Entrepreneurs can now attend training sessions and presentations that assist in online accounting, from their desktop computer. The Twinfield online helpdesk is also included in the Deloitte customers’ subscriptions.

Ctrl started offering online services, including bookkeeping, 5 years ago. Herman Roose, partner responsible for the SME practice at Deloitte Netherlands said: “With ctrl we aspire to offer the best online accounting solution to our customers. After an extensive selection process, we have decided on Twinfield as an addition to Ctrl. In our view, entrepreneurs greatly value the ease of use and functionality of Twinfield. Automating the input process of digital bank account statements, computing the balance sheet and capabilities for concept entries significantly enhances user friendliness. In addition, Twinfield seamlessly integrates with Deloitte processes.”

André Kwakernaat, managing director and cofounder of Twinfield said: “With its SME portal, Deloitte has found an excellent way to support the daily activities of its customers with services and consultancy. Online accounting fully adheres to this concept. I expect SME organisations will embrace the efficient and secure accounting method this close cooperation delivers. We extend a warm welcome to the Deloitte customer base and will assist them in every possible way during the transfer to Twinfield.”
